Facebook's cryptocurrency is coming in the new year

Social media giant Facebook is preparing to bring Libra cryptocurrency or stable currency by early 2021. The Financial Times quoted sources as saying that it is close to the project.

According to the report, the Facebook-led Geneva-based Libra Association plans to launch the Libra sign in January. The company is preparing to launch a dollar-based digital coin

The report also stated that other traditional currency-based coins would be introduced later, despite the Libra Association's new plan.

The Libra Association did not immediately comment on the plan

Last April, the Libra Association proposed to bring these digital coins. The project has been delayed several times due to policy and political opposition.
